Any two keyboard layouts enabled in macOS: English, Russian, Uzbek, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Greek and many more. TypeCorrect uses the real layout tables from macOS, so it matches your keyboard exactly — ANSI, ISO or JIS. Input methods that compose characters, such as Chinese or Japanese, aren’t supported.
Yes. Uzbek Latin is typed on the English (ABC) layout, so Ыфдщь typed with Russian turns into Salom — and back. The Uzbek (Cyrillic) layout works too.
It watches only for the double Shift. Text is read at that moment, converted on your Mac and never stored or sent anywhere. Password fields are always skipped.
macOS requires these permissions for any app that responds to keyboard shortcuts and edits text in other apps. TypeCorrect shows you exactly where to turn them on.
